Prior experience is not necessary, but it will be plus. Whether you are a beginner or have some previous experience, I will tailor our lesson content to help you build a solid foundation, so that you can develop your own unique style and voice for the future.

My lessons may cover a wide range of topics, including harmony, counterpoint, orchestration, form, and notation, although you are more than welcome to suggest any areas that you’d like to focus on. Moreover, I will work with you to identify your strengths and weaknesses and develop a lesson plan that suits your goals and interests.

What resources will I need for these music composition lessons?

All you need is a computer with an internet connection, and a music notation software program such as Sibelius or Dorico. Well, and I’d encourage you to bring your own creative ideas and inspiration to our lessons!
