Q&A

What kind of students typically take music essay writing lessons?

My Music Essays lessons are suitable for students at all levels, including IGCSE, GCSE, IB, A-Level, AP, and university. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced writer, I can help you develop the skills necessary to write compelling and well-structured essays.

How do your lessons help students improve their music essay writing skills?

My lessons help students understand how to analyse music and develop strong arguments that support their ideas. Although everyone’s essay question can be different, we generally give step-by-step guidance on how to structure an essay, develop a thesis statement, and provide evidence to support arguments.

What sets your music essay writing lessons apart from others?

I am a doctoral researcher myself, so I deeply understand how important it is to construct effective academic arguments. I am also a good listener and am able to spot any blind spots that the student may be unaware of. I believe that this does not only help students improve their essays, but also develop a deeper, intrinsic interest in the appreciation of music.
